Mycelium is the branching underground structure of mushrooms. It grows as tiny threads that forms vast networks under the forest floor. The mycelium gives the material the strength and, if required, also suppleness.
HedelComposite is a mycelium substrate made from mushroom spawn and residual sawdust. The mycelium functions as glue to make objects and products. HedelComposite is 100% biodegradable and is a contributor to the environment.
HedelComposite is produced by Mycelium materials Europe, which is a pioneer in manufactured mycelium materials and composites. With a shared interest in planet earth we are working together to offer mycelium composite materials and knowledge to future builders.
Mycelium is a natural product and so environmental stressors can slightly change the consistency of the product.
The costs of shipping depend on the country you live in. As we are located in the Netherlands, the cost of shipping outside this country is more expensive. Prices are calculated by our shipping partner in terms of distance, local toll and weight.
The maximum quantity you can order on our website is set on 10 boxes per order. If you have a big project in mind it is best to reach out to us by sending an email to: contact@kineco.bio and we are happy to discuss what we can do for you.
We need up till 5 working days to process and prepare your order for shipment. As we have outsourced our shipment to our DHL partner we are reliant on their further delivery processes. DHL delivery within The Netherlands will take approximately 2 days. Packages outside NL will mostly arrive between 2 and 5 working days after your order is shipped.
Unfortunatully, shipping outside Europe would be too expensive and we cannot guarantee the quality of the product with these distances.
Shipping is calculated on the distance of your location. Please select your country on the checkout page to see what the cost of shipment to your country will be.
It is possible to pickup your order at our location in Hedel, If you want to use pickup please send us an email before you order so we can help you through the process.
It is important to inspect your product on any contamination or abnormal growth within 48hours of receipt. Please send an email to support@kineco.bio and, if possible, provide us with a picture of your concern. We’ll get back to you within 2 business days with a solution.
We don’t accept returns, however if you are not satisfied with your materials we do our best to find you the right support.
